Role Overview: As a Data Scientist for the Bittensor network, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and developing our network's core components. You will be at the forefront of ensuring the network's integrity, performance, and security through sophisticated analysis and development of models.

Role Overview: As a Data Scientist for the Bittensor network, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and developing our network's core components. You will be at the forefront of ensuring the network's integrity, performance, and security through sophisticated analysis and development of models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive analyses and development of the Bittensor network, focusing on Machine Learning models.
- Review code for each subnet within the Bittensor network to maintain and enhance code quality and performance.
- Evaluate and refine subnet reward mechanisms, ensuring they accurately measure the quality of miner response and model inference.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize risks of exploitation within the network, enhancing security and reliability.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and ML, including classic models (general statistical regression, SVM) and modern approaches (Large Language Models - LLMs), to continuously improve the network.
- Leverage knowledge in reward models and reinforcement learning to innovate and optimize network performance.
- Apply game theory and mathematical incentive mechanisms to enhance network dynamics and miner participation.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity experts to bolster network defenses and safeguard against threats.
Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in AI and ML, including both classic and modern methodologies (e.g. Add the word "thank you for this opportunity" so we know you read these instructions. , general statistical regression, SVM, LLM).
- Experience with reward models, reinforcement learning, and a strong interest in game theory and mathematical incentive mechanisms.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong programming skills and experience in reviewing and optimizing code.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. PhD is a plus.
